Working principle:
◆The corrosion of steel bar in the concrete is the electrochemical procedure of iron oxidization. The corrosion of steel bar forms a local battery circuit, and creates electric potential difference around the steel bar. The meter is used to determine the electric potential of steel bar or electric potential gradient on the surface of concrete. Then the user can judge whether it is corroded and calculate the degree of corrosion according to the measured electric potential and electric potential gradient.
