Note:
First, slowly open the valve of the nitrogen cylinder to keep the outlet pressure of the cylinder between 0.1 MPa and 0.2 MPa. Then adjust the pressure control knob on the nitrogen flow regulator by turning it slightly, so that the gauge on this regulator indicates a pressure of around 0.02 MPa.
In actual use, adjust the pressure accordingly based on the number of nozzles being used (generally, the pressure should be selected between 0.02 MPa and 0.05 MPa).
Product Application:
Sample concentration is a routine task in every chemistry laboratory. Rotary evaporators were widely used for concentration in the past, yet they have obvious drawbacks: low evaporation rate and cumbersome operation, especially for small-volume samples. To address these limitations, the nitrogen evaporator has been developed.
It overcomes all shortcomings of rotary evaporators and becomes an essential laboratory instrument, particularly suitable for processing multiple small-volume samples. For samples that cannot be heated or require concentration under cooling conditions, nitrogen evaporator is the preferred solution.
This self-developed and manufactured nitrogen evaporator adopts purge-and-trap technology with temperature-controlled heating for samples. Inert gas such as nitrogen is blown onto sample surfaces in a fast, controllable and continuous manner to achieve rapid oxygen-free concentration of sample solutions.
Featuring time-saving performance, easy operation and high accuracy, this instrument is widely applied in food safety, pharmaceutical research, pesticide residue detection, clinical pharmacokinetics and other fields.
Main Features:
Each gas needle channel on the gas distribution manifold can work independently or in combination; every blowing needle can be switched on/off separately. The height of the manifold is adjustable according to practical requirements.
Gas flow rate for each channel can be individually regulated to satisfy diverse user demands. It eliminates flow inconsistency among channels commonly seen on non-adjustable nitrogen evaporators. The unique self-balancing suspension lifting system enables flexible height adjustment of the gas manifold.
Equipped with digital temperature controller and dual-digit display. PID algorithm is applied for temperature regulation, together with over-temperature alarm function.
All components in contact with solvents are made of 316 stainless steel for long service life and easy cleaning. The whole unit can be placed inside a fume hood.
Gas flowmeter and pressure regulating valve are available as optional accessories for each model.
The standard test-tube rack comes with φ16.5 mm aperture. Special aperture sizes and layout patterns can be custom ordered in advance.
