Introduction：

The DIN cup is according to the German Standardization Committee (DIN53211 Deutsches lnstitut fur Normung) specified in the production, used for the determination of ink, paint, paint viscosity more convenient.

It is composed of a bottom viscometer with small holes, and the capacity is about 100ml high quality aluminum cup refining.

DIN cup through the determination of aluminum cup a certain capacity of the sample from the bottom of the hole out of the time required to sample the measured viscosity.

Operation method:

1. Before use should choose appropriate solvent to clean the inner wall of the cup body (Note:please pay special attention to cleaning holes,the cup body can spill into soft rope,repeated pumping in the outflow hole;then pull) in air drying or dry cold,residue adhesion past measurement in the cup or outflow port allow.
2. Apply proper cup numbers so that the flow time is controlled between 20~100 seconds(see technical parameters).
3. The solution mixing and filtering in the screen is not less than 567 holes/cm,and the sample and out cup temperature adjustment to the(23 + 0.5C) or another agreed upon temperature.
4. Adjust the viscosity cup bracket(need to be further ordered)the horizontal bolts of the platform to make the horizontal bubbles on the top center.
5. Open or push the baffle of the finger,the sample flows out vertically,and the stopwatch is set up.When the first breakpoint is stopped,the time of outflow is the viscosity value of the sample to be measured.
6. Repeated measurements three times,taking the average as the final reading.
7. Immediately with suitable solvents for cleaning,never use metal cleaning tools or wire cleaning.If outflow holes are dry sediment contamination,using a suitable solvent to soften,and then carefully cleaned with a soft cloth,for example through the outflow hole pull rubbing cleaning.

Maintenance matters needing attention

Because of the drop of DIN cup, the collision will cause the hole to be damaged or deformed, and the measurement error will occur, so we should take good care of it.

Calibration

Instruments should be regularly calibrated in the year after each use (before the nozzle diameter in the factory can be traced back to NIST oil Newton oil has been calibrated, users in the purchase within one year without further calibration).
