VTSYIQI Surface Roughness Standards 30Pcs Surface Roughness Comparators with Ra0.05-12.5um for Comparing and Determining The Degree of The Surface Finish
About this item
Each set includes a set of instructions. With this kit or our personal (larger) standard specimen scale set, quick and easy comparisons can be made, eliminating costly inspection methods, saving valuable production time, and stopping scrap production due to poor surface quality.
These Surface Roughness is used to compare and determine the degree of the surface finish by comparision method and eye estimation or magnifying glass
Manufactured in accordance with ANSI-B-46.1-1985 standards and made of solid electroformed nickel. A truly international set, marked in AA (micro inches) and Ra (microns) metric units.

Introduction
The parameters of surface roughness and their values are applicable to the assessment of machined surface quality, and can also be used in the development of machining process protocols and the design of moulds and dies.
As standardized in ISO2632/1-1975.
This set contains standards for the six most important maching methods in the prevalent ''AA''values. These surface roughness is used to compare and determine the degree of the surface finish by comparision method and eye esimation or magnifying glass. The surface rough contrast blocks is made of 45 carbor stool except the GCr15 which is using to plat lapping the sample block.
All 30 speciments are calibrated in u ''AA(Arithmetical average) and in the metric equivallents um Ra.
Parameters
In the generic ‘AA’ value, the notebook block contains block standards for six important machining methods. All 30 samples are calibrated in U’ AA (arithmetic average) and in the metric system equivalent to umRa. The range of surface roughness comparisons is based on the data in the table below:
